Competition for 2021
After the success of the Letters from Lockdown competition last year, we are announcing a new competition:
Notes for a New Normal will feed into Highland Chat 4 Change: an opportunity for children and young people across Highland to have a voice in the development of policy and practice in Highland.
To recognise and celebrate the start of this conversation, we invite children and young people to participate in our competition: ‘Notes for a New Normal’ for a chance to win prizes of vouchers to enjoy Highland Activities:
£200 1st prize, £50 2nd prize for each age group.

Flyer for Primary
Flyer for pre-school
As we emerge from the challenges of the recent past and with a newly elected Scottish Parliament making decisions to chart a course for recovery with Children’s Rights at the heart of decision making, now is the time to enable children and young people to exercise their right to express their views and have those views listened and responded to. Submissions will form part of this conversation locally and nationally.
Any Highland child or young person under the age of 18 can take part using any media– e.g. writing, art work, video or photos, mind maps, sticky notes – all are welcome.
Entries can be a written piece, a drawing, a mind map, a video or even thoughts on a sticky note.
Please see worksheet (optional idea) below.
Competition entries can be sent via email, WhatsApp or by post.
Click to complete an online competition entry form with every submission or download Entry form in word and return by email.
Deadline for entries: end of June 2021 Winners will be announced in August.
