Rare Resources Roadshow in Highland

Highland Children's Forum is hosting the Rare Resources Roadshow on Tuesday 19th November at the Spectrum Centre, Inverness. 10.30 - 14.30 

Genetic Alliance UK, the national charity working to improve the lives of patients and families affected by rare, genetic and undiagnosed conditions, are bringing the Rare Resources Roadshow to Highland. The Rare Resources Roadshow is a project designed to improve access to high quality information and support for families with rare, genetic and undiagnosed conditions, and bring families and the professionals that work with them together in their local area.

This free event is for children or young people with a rare, genetic or undiagnosed conditions, their parents and carers and professionals involved in their care.

The event will be an opportunity to:

Meet other families in Highland and share your experience.

Find out more about rare, genetic and undiagnosed conditions, the support available and receive a copy of the Rare Resources Toolkit.

Lunch will be provided and travel expenses can be reclaimed (this is a mileage rate: other travel costs can be considered if submitted in advance).
