Highland Children and Young People's Forum
Welcome to Highland Children and Young People's Forum
In the current Coronavirus lockdown period, we continue to work online with our Inspire Highland young people, with some of our participative projects and in our contribution to policy development and service response to the lockdown.
We want to hear from children and young people about their experiences during lockdown and are holding a competition:
This is a time in history that future children will learn about.
Wouldn’t it be great for them to hear what it was like from children and young people living through it?
If you are under 18 years of age and living in Highland, Highland Children and Young People’s Forum have a competition for you.
Send a letter or message to a child or young person of the future to tell them what this time has been like for you. This can be a written letter, an email, a podcast, a video. You can include drawings or photos.
These letters or messages will be kept for use in schools in Highland in the future. Depending on the number received, the letters may be included in a booklet or exhibition.
Invitation to preschool children
Invitation to primary aged children
Invitation to secondary aged children
There will be prizes – first and second prizes for each of the age groups: pre-school; primary aged; secondary aged.
Please send your “Letter from Lockdown”, by the end of June, including your name, age and contact address or email address to:
By Post to: Letter From Lockdown, Cromarty IV11 8XG
By email to: [email protected]
By WhatsApp to: 07789680812
By Facebook message to: Highland Children’s Forum
The competition will be judged over the summer and the winners announced in August.
